Wild Woman Herbal Apothecary
Last updated: June 9, 2026
At Wild Woman, we share plant wisdom as educators and guides, never as prescribers. We honor the body's own intelligence and the traditions women have turned to for centuries. The words below are written in that spirit, and they are also here to keep you informed and safe.

Consult Your Healthcare Provider

- Are pregnant, trying to conceive, or breastfeeding.
- Have a medical condition or are managing your health with the support of a provider.
- Are taking prescription medications or other supplements.

- Are giving a product to a child or elderly person.
Never disregard or delay seeking professional medical advice because of something you have read on our Site or experienced with our products.
Individual Results Vary
Herbal products work in relationship with each unique body. Experiences with our products are personal and will vary from woman to woman. Nothing on our Site should be understood as a promise or guarantee of any particular outcome.
Allergies and Sensitivities
Our products contain botanical ingredients. Please read ingredient lists carefully before use. If you have known allergies or sensitivities to plants, herbs, or other ingredients, exercise care, and discontinue use and seek medical attention if you experience an adverse reaction. If you are unsure, perform a patch test with topical products before broader use.
Use as Intended
Please use our products as described and store them as directed. Keep all products out of reach of children and pets. Do not use a product after its recommended use-by date.
California Proposition 65
California's Proposition 65 requires businesses to warn about exposure to chemicals on a state list of nearly 900, many of which occur naturally in soil and plants. Botanical products, including organically grown herbs, can carry trace amounts of naturally occurring elements such as lead, taken up from the earth the plants grow in. The thresholds that trigger a warning sit far below federal safety levels, and demonstrating that trace elements are naturally occurring is prohibitively costly for a small apothecary. For this reason, like most herbal businesses, we provide the following notice with products shipped to California:
WARNING: This product can expose you to chemicals including lead, which is known to the State of California to cause cancer and birth defects or other reproductive harm. For more information go to www.P65Warnings.ca.gov.
We source from growers and suppliers who test their botanicals for heavy metals, and we choose them with care.
Assumption of Responsibility
By purchasing and using our products, you acknowledge that you do so of your own free will and accept full responsibility for your use of them. You agree that Wild Woman Herbal Apothecary and its owners are not liable for any adverse effects arising from the use or misuse of our products or from reliance on any information provided on our Site, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
A Note on Language and Healing
We sometimes speak of healing, and we want to be clear about what we mean. When we use the word healing, we speak of the inner and emotional kind, the quiet work of remembering oneself, softening, and reconnecting with the body and the earth. We do not mean, and our products are not intended to provide, the treatment or cure of any physical ailment or medical condition. The herbalist's role, as we hold it, is to educate, to invite practice, and to honor your body's own wisdom.
